Technician A says the PCM supplies power and ground to magnetic pulse generators. Technician B says the PCM supplies power and ground to Hall-effect sensors. Who is correct?

    PCM or power-train control module is an automotive component used in vehicles. It has a combination of units.

    PCM covers and controls various factors in a car. If any of the section of vehicle has any issue or error, PCM will turn on check engine light on dashboard.

    Hence it is also referred as brain of engine. The main work of the PCM is to provide output of sensors which are everywhere at car.

    So technician B is correct as he said the PCM supplies power and ground to hall-effect sensors.
