What units would be used to describe the surface gravity of Mars?

    Gravity is described in terms of the acceleration of a body in free-fall there. The unit of acceleration is (meters) / (second-squared). The acceleration of gravity is 9.81 on Earth, 1.62 on the Moon, 3.71 on Mars etc.
