Force - An interaction between an object that causes it to change it's velocity.
Energy - Ability to do work. It also comes in different forms including Thermal heat, Radiant Light, and Kinetic Motion.

A force is a push or a pull which is easily demonstrated and felt but energy is a slightly more abstract concept.
