Xander lit his Bunsen burner. He then reached over the burner to get his chemicals. He performed the lab, but at the end, he dropped a test tube on the ground. He immediately told his teacher, who cleaned it up so he could finish the lab. Once finished, he then cleaned up his area.

    The correct answer would be the first option. Xander's error is reaching over the open flame in order the chemicals. Reaching over an open flame is already an hazard by itself. In this case, he was getting the chemicals which make it more dangerous. He should have prepared all the chemicals before turning the flame on.
