    Dwarf Planet (Other celestial Object)

    Explanation:

Pluto has characteristics similar to both terrestrial and Jovian Planets. It has rocky surface like terrestrial planets but lies far away from the Sun like Jovian planets. It is much smaller than the planets of the solar system. It is round in shape and orbits the Sun in highly eccentric path. It has 5 moons. It is composed of rocks and ice.

Pluto lies beyond the orbit of Neptune in the Kuiper Belt. Many more similar objects similar to Pluto were discovered in the Kuiper Belt which led to its demotion from a planet to a dwarf planet in 2006.
