You can get sunburn on a cloudy day but you can't get a sunburn even on a sunny day if you are behind glass. explain why

    Sunburn is caused by ultraviolet rays. For ultraviolet rays, clouds are semi transparent, so we can get sunburn even on a cloudy day. However, glass is opaque to UV rays. The rays cannot reach them and so we are protected from sunburn
