    = m. a. ∆t (the puck accelerating after the collision with the hockey sticks)

    = m. ∆v/∆t. ∆t

    = m. ∆v

    Solve for m, we get ...

    m = I / ∆v

    = 4 / 12

    = 1 / 3 kg or 0.33 kg
