What do you mean by zero, positive and negative acceleration

Zero acceleration means speed and direction are not changing. Positive acceleration means speed is growing in the direction that you decided to call the positive direction. Negative acceleration means speed is shrinking in the direction that you decided to call positive, or increasing in the direction that you decided to call negative.
