Carlos is analyzing the results of a recent scientific study about gravity. Scientists recorded that the experimental value of gravity was 10.24 m/s² and the general accepted value of gravity is 9.81 m/s².

    By merely looking in the two values, we can see the difference between Carlos experimental value versus the accepted value of gravity which is 9.81 m/s2. We can compute for the percent error between the two values. Solution for the percent error is shown below:

    % error = | (9.81m/s2 - 10.24m/s2) / 9.81m/s2|*100

    Then percent error is equal to 4.38%.
