A cubic piece of metal measures 7.50cm on each edge. If the metal is nickel, whose density is 8.90 g/cm3, what is the mass of the cube?

    Mass of a cube = density * volume

    volume = length of each side ^3

    = 7.5*7.5*7.5 = 521.875 cm ^3

    therefore mass = 8.90 g/cm3 * 521.875 cm3 = 3754.69
