    Angle of refraction=r=17 °

    Explanation:

    using snell's law

    n1 sin i = n2 sin r

    i = angle of incidence

    r = angle of refraction

    n1 = refractive index of first medium

    n2 = refractive index of second medium

    so 1.0003 sin45 = 2.42 sin r

    sinr=0.2923

    r = sin⁻¹ (0.2923)

    r=17 °

    so the angle of refraction=r=17 °
