How many neutronss are in an atom of oxygen with a mass number of 18?

    10. Mass number = Atomic number + number of neutrons. The atomic number of oxygen is 8. Hence 18 = 8 + number of neutrons. Rearranging, number of neutrons = 18 - 8 = 10
