    The acceleration of the box can be calculated using the formula:

    Fnet = weight - friction

    m a = m g - μk m g

    where m is mass, a is acceleration, g is gravity, μk is the coefficient of kinetic friction

    Simplifying the equation:

    a = (1 - μk) g

    a = (1 - 0.3) * 9.8 m/s^2

    a = 6.86 m/s^2
