    KE = 1/2 · M · V²

    Kinetic energy = (1/2) · (mass) · (speed) ²

    Cat's KE = (1/2) · (8 kg) · (4 m/s) ²

    KE = (4 kg) · (16 m²/s²)

    KE = 64· (kg ·m² / s²)

    KE = 64 · (kg · m / s²) · (m)

    KE = 64 Newton · meter

    KE = 64 Joules
