For adults, the RDA of the amino acid lysine is 12 mg per kg of body weight. How many grams per say should a 71.0 kg adult receive

    So, hypothetically, if someone weighed 1kg, they would need 12mg of lysine daily.

    Then that means, a 72 kg adult would need 864mg of lysine daily, which is 0.864 grams.
