    From Newton's Second Law of motion, force (F) is the product of mass (m) of the object and the acceleration (a).

    F = m x a

    Substituting the known values above,

    1000 N = (0.045 kg) x a

    a = 22222.22 m/s²

    Velocity, on the other hand, is the product of acceleration and time.

    v = a x t

    Substituting the known values,

    v = (22222.22 m/s²) (1.8 x 10^-3 s)

    v = 40 m/s

    Thus, the velocity or speed of the golf ball is 40 m/s.
