A force of 20 N acts acts on an object of 4.0 kg mass that is initially at rest. What is the resulting acceleration of the object? How far does the object travel in 6.0 seconds?

    Acceleration = Force / mass = 20/4 = 5 m/s².

    acceleration a = 5 m/s², initial velocity u = 0, time t = 6 s

    S = ut + 1/2 a t² = 0 + 1/2 x 5 x 6² = 90 m.

    distance traveled = 90 m.
