    a) Argument to halt the advances of technology: Advancement of technology has resulted in deterioration of environment. Use of automobiles can be taken as a perfect example. With exponential rise in use of automobile cause adverse effect on human health. Hence advancement of technology must be halted.

    b) Argument to continue advances in technology: technology has brought the mankind many benefits which were once hard to even imagine. Before invention of automobiles, it was very difficult for people to travel to far off places in short time. Use of automobiles has made travelling easier, comfortable and faster.

    c) Arguments made in a and b above are both valid. It is true that technology gives rise to some adverse effects. At the same time it is equally true that today's life cannot be imagined without technology. Benefits of advancing technology outweigh the adverse effects. It creates.

    Moreover, technological advancements don't have adverse effects in themselves. it is way technology is used that result in benefits or adverse effects. It can be safely said that technological advances must be continued but they must be used such that maximum benefit can be reaped with minimum adverse effect on human life
