    The volume of a gas decreases when temperature decreases.

    Explanation;

    Charles' Law gives the relationship between volume and temperature if pressure and amount are held constant. It states that volume is directly proportional to temperature given a constant amount of gas and a constant pressure.

    Therefore; If the volume of a container is increased, the temperature increases and If the volume of a container is decreased, the temperature decreases.
