The speed of the two stuck together blobs of putty immediately after colliding = 1.5 m/s

    Explanation:

The momentum is conserved before and after collision. That is initial momentum value is equal to final momentum value.

    Initial momentum = 2 * 3 + 2 * 0 = 6 kg m/s

    So final momentum = 6 kg m/s

    Final mass of body = 2 + 2 = 4 kilogram

    Final velocity of body = Final momentum / Final mass = 6/4 = 1.5 m/s

So, the speed of the two stuck together blobs of putty immediately after colliding = 1.5 m/s
