Is it true that most of the mass is in the shell of the atom?

    Most of an atom's mass is in its nucleus; the mass of an electron is only 1/1836 the mass of the lightest nucleus, that of hydrogen ... The nucleus of an atom contains protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons have nearly equal masses, but they differ in charge.
