When combustion reactions occur inside a rocket's engine, a lot of heat and pressure are released. the pressure gradient is much larger inside the rocket than outside, which causes the gaseous products to rush out of the rocket. what does this create?

    The answer is thrust. The action is the fuel mass being pushed outside of the rocket booster at a fast rate while the reaction is the rocket pushing forward. The force creates Thrust.
