Alisha uses wire to connect a battery, a lightbulb, and a switch, but the bulb does not light up even though the switch is in the closed position. Which might explain the problem?

    Alisha uses wire to connect a battery, a lightbulb, and a switch, but the bulb does not light up even though the switch is in the closed position. The switch is in closed position that is why her circuit would not work. It must be open so that electrons can move along the wire and enable the lightbulb to light up.
