    The (t) time taken for an object to fall from a height of (h) meters is given by:

    h = ½gt²

    where (g) is the acceleration due to gravity. (9.81 m/s²) Plugging in your values:

    802 = ½ * 9.81 * t²

    t² = 2 * 802 / 9.81 t = 12.8 seconds

    So the package must be dropped when the drone is still 12.8 s from being overhead of the target.

    So the solution to know how far will the drown moving at 201 m/s get in 12.8 s

    (201 m/s * 12.8 s) = 2570 m
