A car starts from rest and accelerates uniformly over a time of 5.21 seconds for a distance of 110 m. Determine the acceleration of the car.

    Distance (s) = (initial velocity (u) * time) + (0.5*acceleration (a) * time (t) ²)

    s=110 m, t=5.21 s, u = 0 m/s

    110 = (0*5.21) + (0.5*a*5.21²)

    a = 110 / (0.5*5.21²) = 8.10 m/s²
