    To calculate the electric field between two parallel plates the Gauss' Law can be used: The total of electric flux out of a closed surface is equal to the charge enclosed divided by the permittivity.

    E = V/d, where V is the electric potential difference between the plates and d is the distance between the plates. According to this equation,

    E = 24V/0.065 m = 369 V/m 369 N/C
