A torque wrench will usually have a gauge indicating the amount of torque applied in the activity to ensure that the nut or bolt is not under or over-torqued.

A torque wrench is used where the tightness of screws and bolts is crucial. The crucial part are majorly inside the engine e. g suspension nuts and bolts, u joint nuts, bell housing belt, brake calipers, the engine head that covers the casket etc.

What might happen if a regular wretch is used?

Some vehicles have certain bolts and nuts that like to sheer or strip off if you put more pressure or torque on them, so using a regular wrench will damage the nuts or bolts, so is advisable to use torque wretch to avoid this.

    Attribute of the torque wretch

    1. Precision

    2. Calibration

    3. Extension

    4. Storage
