As a storm front moves in you notice that the column of mercury in a barometer rises to only mm. (a) what is the air pressure? kpa (b) if the mercury in this barometer is replaced with water, to what height does the column of water rise? assume the same air pressure found in part (a).

    We can't answer either of these questions without knowing the number that's supposed to appear in the blank space between "only" and "mm".

    The only thing I can tell you is that the missing, mystery number, when multiplied by 13.6, will give you the answer to ' b '.
