Bullet: m=20.0g

Block of wood: m = 1.00kg

b. What was the velocity of the block the moment after the bullet hit it?

c. How high would the wooden block swing if the bullet becomes imbedded in it?

    The force recoil on the spring loaded bullet is the spring constant * the distance the bullet would travel

    From Force = K * extension (distance)

    Also this force is in tandem with the weight of the bullet mass * acceleration of the bullet
