Given the potential on a spherical shell of radius R to be V (R, θ) = V0 cos θ, calculate V (r, θ) both inside and outside the shell. From your result, determine the normal component of the electric field on either side of the shell, E+, and E-, and from them the charge on the shell σ (θ) = 0 (E + - E-). What is the total charge on the shell?
