The way which does not neutralizes the body charge by adding more protons to a positive charged body until proton number matches with number of electrons.

    Answer: Option A

    Explanation:

In a positively charge medium or body, there is an excess amount of proton in it, in order to neutralize those charge with excess of proton, excess of free electrons or bring the body to an oppositely charged body or even allowing free electrons to escape from the negative charged body will be sufficient. Therefore, adding proton will not neutralize the positive charged body but will make it more positive in charge.

    D. Allowing free electrons to escape from a negatively charged body

    Explanation:

In order to neutralize a charge, an equal and opposite charge must be added or brought in contact with it.

From the options provided, only D is wrong.

Allowing free electrons to escape from a negatively charged body will cause the body to be positively charged. In such a body, the number of positively charged particles will be more. A neutralized atom or neutral atom has equal amount of positive and negative charges.
