Work is defined as the use of force to move on object in the direction of the force and is equal to the forced times the distance object moved. How do energy and power related to work?

    Energy and power are related to work because energy is being used to do work. You need power to move the object. If you are only applying force to the object, you are not doing work. You need to move the object in order to do work.
