The red brake warning lamp is on and the amber ABS lamp is off. Technician A says that a fault is possible in the base brake system. Technician B says that the red brake warning lamp can be turned on by a low brake fluid level in the master cylinder. Which technician is correct?

    Explanation:

    Possible indication of by the red brake lamp is faulty brake system, since when the brake pedal is pushed normally it is turned on. Hence this indicates a faulty brake system if it is turned on without pushing the brake pedal.

    Also the brake light is turned on when ever there is shortage in brake fluid, this signals that there is a possible fault in the braking system.
