    Given that

    W = 1/2 * QV

    Where q is the charge in coulombs = 0.01 C

    W = energy in the capacitor

    V = potential difference in volts

    Hence,

    W = 6 = 1/2 * 0.01 * V

    12 = 0.01 V

    V = 12: 0.01

    V = 1200 volts
