A runner has a speed of 5 m/s and a mass of 130 kg. What is his kinetic energy?

    We know that:

    Ek=1/2mv²

    Ek=1/2 (130kg) (5m/s) ²

    EK=1625J

    M = 130 kg

    v = 5 m/s

    kinetik energy = ½• m•v²

    = ½ • 130• 5²

    = ½•130•25

    = ½•3250

    = 1625.
