when the swing is at lower most position which is the mean position then it has maximum kinetic energy

    Explanation:

When a child on a swing set is swinging freely without pumping her legs then the maximum velocity following the laws of oscillation like a pendulum.

When the swing is at higher position than the mean position there is some potential energy in the swing and also some kinetic energy whereas at the higher most position of the swing the swing has zero velocity where we can say that all its kinetic energy is converted into potential energy. In contrast to this when the swing is at lower most position which is the mean position then it has maximum kinetic energy and minimum potential energy with respect to the ground.
