A physical change to metal rod: it bent
a chemical change to a metal rod: it rusted
the difference between the two changes is when something (an element) undergoes a chemical change some type of chemical reaction changes the element but the change isnt always visable but if the change is physical like a bent metal rod the change has effected the element physically meaning visable
