    P (gauge) = 450 KPa

    Explanation:

    Given that

    h = 45 m

    We know that, density of water ρ = 1000 kg/m³

    The acceleration due to gravity g = 10 m/s²

    As we know that pressure above the atmospheric pressure is known as gauge pressure. And the summation of gauge and atmospheric pressure is known as absolute pressure.

    The gauge pressure P (gauge) given as

    P (gauge) = ρ g h

    Now by putting the values

    P (gauge) = ρ g h

    P (gauge) = 1000 x 10 x 45 Pa

    P (gauge) = 450 KPa
