A car accelerates uniformly from rest to a speed of 23.7m/s in 6.5 seconds. Find the distance the

car travels during this time.

    The car's average speed during that time is (23.7/2) = 11.85 m/s.

    Distance = (11.85 m/s) x (6.5 sec) = 77.025 meters.
