If the mass of a material is 43 grams and the volume of the material is 7 cm^3, what would the density of the material be?

    The density of a sample of material is always (its mass) / (its volume).

    If the mass of a sample is 43 grams and its volume is 7 cm³,

    then its density is (43 g) / (7 cm³) = 6.14 g/cm³.
