Mass of the iron bench = 144 kg

The iron will absorb energy from the sun and its temperature will increase from 25 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius

    Change in the temperature = 35 - 25 = 10 degree Celsius

    Specific heat capacity of the iron (c) = 460.54 J/Kg C

    Heat gained by the iron bench = M * c * ΔT

    Heat gained by the iron bench = 144 * 460.54 * 10

    Heat absorbed = 663177.6 Joules

Hence, to raise the temperature from 25 to 35 degree Celsius, the iron bench will absorb energy from the sum = 663177.6 Joules
