A bus left Austin at 6:00 am and traveled to San Antonio. After the passengers got off the bus, it returned to Austin, arriving back at the terminal at 10:30 am. What additional information is needed in order to determine the average speed of the bus?

    Time of round trip = 28.5 hours

    Distance = X unknown

    so

    Vaverage = 2 x D / 28.5 hours = average speed
