How does temperature affect thermal energy?

    Thermal energy is anything that has a temperature / can create a temperature (heat energy) therefore if the temperature increases, this means that the thermal energy of the item/object will increase too.

    If you increase temperature you increase thermal energy if you double the amount you have the temperature does not change but the thermal energy does
