At a pressure 49 kPa, the gas in a cylinder has a volume of 11 liters. Assuming temperature remains the same, if the volume of the gas is decreased to 4 liters, what is the new pressure?

    V = (1 / p) * p0 * V0

    1 / p = V / (p0 * V0)

    p = (p0 * V0) / V = (49kPa * 11L) / 4L = 134.75kPa
