Out of this particular list of choices Choice-A is the only correct statement.

Here are a few other ways in which the Earth compares to the Moon:

    - - Earth has air, water, weather, climate, rain, wind, clouds, storms, rainbows, fog, lightning, blue sky, seasons, etc. The Moon doesn't.

    - - Earth has ants, grass, water, puppies, and people on it. The Moon doesn't.

    - - Earth has about 80 times as much mass as the Moon has.

    - - Earth spins to face the sun once every day. The Moon takes 27 days to do it.

    - - People anywhere on Earth can see the Moon about half of the time. If people land on the Moon, they can NEVER see the Earth from about half of it.

    - - Daylight on Earth lasts half of an Earth day on the average. Daylight on the Moon lasts almost 14 Earth days on the average, and so does darkness.

    - - The difference between daytime and night-time temperatures is never more than around 100 degrees anywhere on Earth. It's more than 500 degrees on the Moon.

    - - On Earth, you can't see the stars in the daytime. On the Moon, you can.

    - - For every 6 pounds of you on Earth, there's only 1 pound of you on the Moon.

    - - Earth has sound on it. The Moon doesn't!

    - - While you're on Earth, you can never see a crescent-shaped Earth or a half-Earth. From the Moon, you can.

    - - While you're on Earth, you can NEVER see about half of the Moon. While you're on the Moon, you can see EVERYplace on Earth within about 23 hours.

    Is that weird or what!

Answer: A. Earth has more inertia than the moon.

    Explanation:

Inertia is a property of matter by virtue of its mass. Greater the mass, greater is the inertia. Gravitational pull also depends on the mass of the object. Greater the mass, the object would pull with greater force.

Earth has greater mass than the moon, thus it has greater inertia and greater gravitational pull.

From Newton's law, we know that the when an external unbalanced force acts, the motion of the object changes. Thus, Earth and moon would change their motion when acted on by a force.

The speed of moon and earth varies in different parts of their orbits,

Thus, the correct answer is A. Earth has more inertia than the moon.
