Bullets bounce from Superman's chest. Suppose that Superman, with mass 104 kg, while not moving, is struck by a 3.93 g bullet moving with a speed of 855 m/s. mass of superman, M = 104 kg

    initial velocity of superman, U = 0

    mass bullet, m = 3.93 g

    initial velocity of bullet, u = 855 m/s

    Let the velocity of superman after hitting by the bullet is V.

    M x 0 + m x u = M x V + m x 0

    3.93 x 10^-3 x 855 = 104 x V

    V = 0.032 m/s
