The first group that developed this method were Joseph H. Pratt, Trigant Burrow and Paul Schilder and it was improved by Jacob Moreno, Samuel Slavson, Hyman Spotnitz, Irvin Yalom and Lou Ormont. They use various approaches such as group therapy where patients get to know themselves and learn more about their conditions. Today’s now include problem solving, role play and feedback to treat patients.
