    A British soldier named as "James Edward Oglethorpe" was a Member of Parliament. He was majorly highlighted as the founding father of the Georgia colony. Being extremist he followed to resettle the needy poor of Britain into the New World by targeting firstly the debtors ' prisons who were captured for slavery.

    The colonists included many Scots whose entrepreneurial abilities greatly supported the settlement, and many of Georgia's new settlers included poor English traders and craftsmen and religious immigrants from Switzerland, France, and Germany, as well as a variety of Jewish refugees.
