The correct answers are: A. Quebec and D. Montreal. The battle of Quebec is also known as The Battle of the Plains of Abraham, lasted less than an hour and was the culmination of the three-month siege by the British and had a decisive influence on the subsequent creation of Canada.

Montgomery led his troops northward, occupying the island of Saint Paul, crossing Pinte-Saint Charles the next day where he was received as a liberator. Montreal fell without any significant struggle days later.

The correct answers are A and D.

The Battle of Quebec, that took place in 1775 as part of the American Revolutionary War, was the first major defeat of the American Continental Army, and a very important victory for the British forces that tried to defend their territories against the independence claims. The American suffered important losses, including the death of General Richard Montgomery.

The Battle of Montreal, more commonly known as the Battle of the Prairie, took place in 1691 in the territory of New France, not far for Montreal. The British, together with their Indian allies, defeated the French and caused great casualties to them.
