    People who are always hostile, competitive and pessimistic are likely to suffer a great deal of stress which may lead to depression which may later cause heart diseases.

    Over time constant stress may affect the blood flow in one's blood stream and which may then cause them to having heart diseases.

    When a person is stressed their high blood pressure reamins at the peak and cholesterol levels, smoking, physical inactivity and overeating which all lead to heart disease, a person who is hostile and competitive is likely to experience or engage in all these when they experience failure. Some people will choose to drink too much alcohol or smoke cigarettes to deal with their chronic stress, which all lead to cardiovascular diseases.
